Boxing Gyms

Anyone trained in one before?
There's one down the street from my office, do one on one boxing training.
They train you as they would a fighter, not going to fight but I've heard it's a brutal but effective way of getting in shape (I drastically need to).

Shame I am as old as I am, if I was 22 I'd try and give boxing a shot & obvisously win the world title.

SoA - For your own good I suggest you read out aloud to yourself what you are going to post before doing so. If it sounds cringey then it probably is.
Well done with your weight loss but remember it's only 20% exercise and 80% nutrition that results in a toned and fit body.
I boxed in my teens and have been doing Muay Thai for the last 8 years. Happy to give you some pointers.

I've started boxing at fivestar abc in Harold hill recently, I'm in absolute agony after training last night, it's gruelling but if you stick to it then there's nothing better. Need to work on my stance and general fitness but i have power.
